Job Summary
EirTrade is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join its Asset Management division. The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Asset Management to ensure asset optimisation and implement new strategies & efficiencies.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide the management team with clear and concise information on asset performance and management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of the department and the team to ensure deadlines are met and tasks complete to a high standard. These tasks will include but not limited to evaluations & appraisals of aircraft, continuous inventory management, pricing strategies and RFP opportunities for aircraft acquisitions.

 

Responsibilities
  • You will support the Vice President of Asset Management in the day to day running of the Asset Management department.
  • You will be the point person within a multidisciplinary team to manage the execution & completion of internal projects.
  • You will manage & analyse the performance of all assets being managed by EirTrade, and provide optimal strategies for each asset.
  • You will present summary findings in a clear and concise manner and provide recommendations to the company
  • You will generate financial performance and analysis reports and provide commentary on key performance indicators for each asset.
  • You will coordinate the management of EirTrade’s aviation component inventory.
  • You will be responsible for the management, storage & analysis of the organisations’s extensive database.
  • You will liaise with the Vice President of Asset Manageemnt on any upcoming asset acquisitions/opportunities.
  • You will coordinate the evaluation & appraisal of customer assets, or assets which are for sale in the market.
  • You will relish the chance to work on other ad hoc duties as they arise.

 

What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude, a third level qualification in a related field and experience in a similar role. The individual should have strong competency in the areas of business, commerce, asset management & maths/finance while be comfortable managing and interpreting large data sets, generating data on financial performance and analysis while identifying correlations with ‘real market’ conditions.

Key Requirements:

  • You will be a graduate of a business, finance, engineering or maths degree.
  • You will have several years of relevant experience in an asset management, aircraft maintenance or aircraft leasing environment.
  • You will be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel via an MS Excel test.
  • You will possess excellent numerical ability, attention to detail, demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
  • You will be an excellent communicator and demonstrate that you work well in teams.
  • You will have strong leadership and organisational skills.
