Job Summary

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Technical Administration Assistant will support the Knock team with administration activities. EirTrade, as a worldwide material and service provider trades internationally as part of its regular day to day activities. This requires a high degree of diligence in ensuring key delivery of key procurement and organisational activities. Quality of work is fundamental to our reputation. Key objectives of the role include attention to detail, raising of quotes, communication with clients, payment of invoices and reconciliation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Record purchases/sales invoices in a timely manner
  • Forecasting projects
  • Assisting with the co-ordination of the teardown of aircraft
  • HR administration
  • Health & Safety Coordination
  • Recharges of expenses
  • Preparation of reports
  • Purchase supplies and equipment & sourcing material
  • Support management with ad-hoc activities

What we are looking for:

  • High degree of competency with MS Office suite particularly Excel
  • Highly numerate, a bookkeeper or part qualified account qualification desired but not essential
  • A sound knowledge of computer systems, and experience in AvSight desired but not essential
  • Be highly organised and be able to handle a wide variety of tasks in a highly pressurised environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Be an effective communicator
  • The ability to negotiate with clients
