Job Summary

The successful candidate will take on responsibilities in the technical team. EirTrade, as a worldwide material and service provider trades internationally as part of its regular day to day activities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of aircraft and engine component records
  • Preparation of back to birth files for each life limited part or component
  • Research the commercial trace of aircraft and engine components & organize the hard/electronic copy documents
  • Document and track the open action items and prepare a weekly report for senior management on open technical projects
  • Research and develop ICT systems for recording and presentation of technical records and projects for customers
  • Development of tools to improve the analysis of records and tracking of projects
  • Physical inspection of parts when requested by the operations team
  • Contact with respective Operators, OEM’s and customers as required
  • Explain technical information clearly via presentations and written technical reports
  • Daily running of technical email and answering daily technical requests

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Aircraft/Engine Technical Records or Similar Role
  • Degree in Business, engineering or Aviation related education
  • Experience in Technical records, Engine On lease/Off lease technical document, LLP BTB trace, Engine statements, MPD Tasks, Technical Logbooks
  • Knowledge of current commercial engines
  • Knowledge of basic engine structure – Modules, Assemblies, Piece parts, LRU’s, QEC
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks taking ownership end to end
  • Self-motivated and self-driven, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a small entrepreneurial team
  • A strong communicator
  • Able to apply integrity and good practice across all activities and initiatives
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Strong PC skills, particularly excel, PDF and word

Candidates please note. As we are located in Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole own transport is essential. Candidate must have the right to permanently work in Ireland at the time of application. Our working hours are 8.30 – 5.30 Monday – Friday. Interviews will take place in person at our Head Office.
