Job Summary
Due to the expansion of EirTrade’s service offering, a new mechanical team is being created. The purpose of the team will be to tear-down / disassemble jet engines to their component parts; and to log and package for onward sales to EirTrade clients.  The Engine Mechanic will play an important role on this new team.


Ø  Removal of Engines from stand and place on engine pedestals

Ø  Carry out full engine inventory check

Ø  Remove all major modules and disassemble to piece part level using tools and equipment provided

Ø  Inspect, photograph and manifest all removed parts

Ø  Report any issues or delays to the management team

Ø  Tag, wrap and box all removed parts

Ø  Input and log all items / parts on the Company’s IT system

Ø  Develop strong working relationships across EirTrade, in particular the sales and operations teams

Ø  Ensure all activity is completed in line with both health and safety standards and EirTrade procedures


What we are looking for
 Ø  Previous experience working with jet engines (CFM56 series preferred)

Ø  Previous mechanical experience

Ø  Excellent attention to detail

Ø  Ability to work as part of a team

Ø  Computer literate
