THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the CCO, the Sales Office Manager is a new role which is being created by EirTrade with the purpose of taking day to day measurement and administration activities away from the Sales team to allow them to focus on sales and new account development. The Sales Office Manager will be responsible for the administrative management of the sales team and while reporting into the CCO, will be a key support function to both the Airframe and Engine Sales Team. EirTrade, as a worldwide material and service provider trades internationally as part of its regular day to day activities.  Key objectives of the role include management of the account structure and account allocation, building and measuring accounts through robust reporting mechanisms, management of the pipeline, development and implementation of training plans for new employees and new process implementation and industry analysis on clients to develop new client opportunities. 

The candidate must possess excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to deal with internal and external clients and ensure EirTrade standards are always adhered to.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Develop and execute in conjunction with the Aiframe and Engine Sales Manager a comprehensive account plan for key strategic accounts and new client opportunities 
  • Oversee the account structure and account allocation and ensure it is robust and adapts to current assets on an ongoing basis  
  • Carry out administration activities on behalf of the sales team
  • Manage the pipeline on behalf of the sales team 
  • Build sales metrics and reports to ensure measurement of sales performance per sales manager/exec and be in a position to articulate and interpret the data at management meetings.  Key metrics include revenue targets, margin, cash-flow, working capital, market share, new customer accounts
  • Build training packs for new Sales Hires, formulate training plans and ensure adherence to plan
  • Carry out industry/client analysis on an as required basis to ensure EirTrade is targeting appropriate territories and clients 
  • Ensure Sales drivers are clearly communicated and managed across the EirTrade organization e.g. Repairs, Technical, Assets 
  • Contribute to senior management team meetings and company strategy formulation 
  • Liaise with other departments such as operations, repairs, assets and technical services to ensure adherence to EirTrade and industry procedures at all times.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Sales Operations/Administration experience in the aviation industry essential in either airframe/engine or both
  • Excellent organisational skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to apply common sense and pragmatism as required
  • Excellent excel skills 
  • Knowledge of Quantum not essential but desirable  
  • Able to apply integrity and good practice across all activities and initiatives
  • While the role is as an individual contributor, people management experience desirable
