Job Summary
EirTrade is seeking an experienced & goal driven individual to join its Asset Management division as a Senior Analyst. The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Asset Management to manage the efficient evaluation of commercial aircraft / engines and analysis of prospective transactions.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside the department manager on transactions and opportunities to acquire commercial aircraft / engines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring EirTrade’s financial models are kept up to date by leveraging internal systems and the organisation’s expansive database. Evaluations will need to be completed efficiently in line with RFP & internal deadlines. All evaluations need to be evaluated in a highly detailed and accurate manner while summarising the information in a clear and concise format.

 

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible to ensure the timely & accurate evaluation of transaction opportunities and asset appraisals.
  • You will be responsible for the project management of all live opportunities and ensuring no deadlines are missed.
  • You will be responsible for the proactive management of EirTrade’s models to ensure that they are up to date and leverage the organisation’s database in full.
  • You will proactively improve the current models and the process by which assets are evaluated to drive efficiencies within the department.
  • You will assume responsibility for onboarding, training & mentoring other analysts which join the Team going forward.
  • You will continuously monitor the accuracy of EirTrade’s evaluation models & the underlying assumptions to identify any improvements which can be mde to benefit future transactions.

 

What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude, a third level qualification in a related field and/or experience in a similar role. The individual should have strong competency in the areas of business, commerce, asset management & maths/finance while being comfortable managing and interpreting large data sets, generating data on financial performance and analysis while identifying correlations with ‘real market’ conditions.

Key Requirements:

  • You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar or related role.
  • You will be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel via an MS Excel test.
  • You will possess excellent numerical ability, attention to detail, demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
  • You will have strong financial & accounting literacy.
  • You will be an excellent communicator and demonstrate that you work well in a team.
  • You will have a strong initiative to take a proactive approach to the role.
  • Prior experience of Salesforce would be advantageous.
  • Prior aviation experience or technical understanding would be a distinct advantage.
  • CFA qualification would be a distinct advantage.
