Senior Portfolio Analyst, Dublin

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide the department manager with clear and concise information on asset performance and forecasting for a portfolio of over 80 commercial aircraft / engines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the routine delivery of concise and accurate information to EirTrade’s senior management Team and external stakeholders, to facilitate key business decisions. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be expected to stay up to date with market trends and the market values of aircraft components.

• You will be responsible to ensure the timely and accurate reporting on the financial performance and forecasting for over 80 commerical aircraft / engine disassembly projects.
• You will be responsible for the accurate reporting of stock values & future revenue projection for all projects and assets under the management of EirTrade.
• You will be expected to be continuously proactive improving the process in generating outputs to drive efficiencies across the department / business.
• You will present summary findings from large data sets in a clear and concise manner and provide recommendations to the department.
• You will communicate directly with EirTrade’s key airline & lessor customers, and investors on a regular basis to satisfy all reporting requirements.
• You will work to leverage EirTrade’s internal systems to improve  the organisation’s data management to sytremline internal processes.

Key Requirements:

• You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar or related role.
• You will be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel via an MS Excel test.
• You will be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency of working with large data sets & financial models and the communication of key findings to Senior Management in a clear and concise manner.
• You will possess excellent numerical ability, attention to detail, demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
• You will have strong financial & accounting literacy.
• You will be an excellent communicator and demonstrate that you work well in a team.
• You will have a strong initiative to take a proactive approach to the role.
• Prior experience of Salesforce, XL Connector the MS Excel Cube function would be advantageous.
• CFA qualification would be a distinct advantage.
