Vice President – Technical

With operations in Ireland and the US, EirTrade’s role is to optimise Client Asset Value through a variety of services, including:

• Technical Storage
• Consignment Programs
• Technical Services – Back to Birth & Current Market Asset Valuations
• Engine, Aircraft and Parts Trading
• Aircraft Storage and Disassembly
• End of Life Program Management

VP of Technical is a key member of EirTrade’s Senior Management team.  The VP of Technical is a senior position in EirTrade Aviation and is a unique opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the aviation industry, has vision, energy, and ambition to lead, develop and improve our technical management capabilities.

• Manage the day-to-day running of EirTrade’s Technical Services Team.
• Oversee the technical records review of all aircraft & engines during the acquisition process.
• Manage/arrange the physical inspection of assets as required.
• Manage the delivery & redelivery process of aircraft / engines as required.
• Assist with the greentime forecasting of serviceable engines to project remaining greentime and the timing of maintenance events.
• Review & monitor the AD/SB status of engines.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of EirTrade’s engine disassembly facility.
• Ensure the technical records for all material & engines are prepared and available for sale.
• Liaise with other departments such as commercial, operations, repairs, assets, and technical services to ensure adherence to EirTrade policies and procedures while delivering Best in Class Customer Service.
• Responsible for working with Vendors to ensure EirTrade’s New Supplier Procedures are complied with and all members of EirTrade staff are in compliance with the procedure

• Qualified Powerplant engineer with prior experience working with an airline, MRO, or lessor.
• More than 10 years’ experience in a similar role(s)
• Familiarity with project management and engine management.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A strong communicator
• Ability to apply integrity and good practice across all activities and initiatives.
• Precious people management experience

• Demonstrate behaviour in accordance with EirTrade Business Ethics and Protection policy in all company business dealings and decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks taking ownership end to end.
• Self-motivated and self-driven, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a small entrepreneurial team
