Job Summary
EirTrade, as a worldwide material and service provider, trades internationally as part of its regular day to day activities. The successful candidate will work with the Asset Management team to build models to evaluate assets, they will have the ability to analyse data to support the organisations business direction from an Asset Management perspective. This position requires strong analytics and quantitative skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely & accurate evaluation of opportunities and asset appraisals
- Assisting for managing EirTrade’s models to ensure that they are up to date and leverage the organisation’s database in full
- Proactively work to improve the current models and the process in which we evaluate assets to drive efficiencies within the department
- Use data analytics skills to find inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement across the organisation
- Work across departments to constantly look for ways to improve the company ERP platform
- Help build dashboards to visualize information contained within the company ERP platform
What we are looking for:
- Minimum third level degree in Aviation, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline
- 1-2 years working in an analytics role, experience in the aviation industry would be a distinct advantage
- You will be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience working with Salesforce is a distinct advantage
- Experience with a data visualisation tool Power Bi / Tableau is a plus
- Strong statistics knowledge and how to apply these to business problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external parties
- Highly organized individual with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Understanding and experience of working in an agile team environment
- Self-motivated and self-driven, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a small entrepreneurial team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks taking ownership end to end
- Demonstrate behaviour in accordance with EirTrade Business Ethics and Protection policy in all company business dealings and decisions
