Job Summary
Reporting to the CCO the Business Development Manager – Engine will be responsible for securing the pipeline for Engine Disassembly. The job holder will lead the development of pipeline and achieving targets through sourcing.
They are expected to proactively develop vendor and customer relationships through meetings, sales calls and emails and will have an established network already.
The successful candidate will add strength and experience to our existing team and must possess excellent business development and communication skills with the ability to deal with internal and external clients and ensure EirTrade standards are adhered to and improved on.
This is a permanent role with a 6-month probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Actively work on marketing EirTrade, and establishing strong relationships with Airlines, Lessors and other industry stakeholders.
- Identify and evaluate potential counterparties, conduct negotiations, and establish strong relationships.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and pipelines to ensure pipeline is strong.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deals.
- Identify and develop new opportunities, understand the market dynamics to target new opportunities.
- Respond to incoming enquiries, referrals and leads in a timely, professional, and effective manner.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on leads to obtain feedback and expedite opportunities.
- Liaise with internal teams and trading partners to ensure timely progress of transactions, while providing regular updates to all relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Meet agreed KPI’s annually for engine sourcing.
- Lead weekly & monthly reporting to SLT.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the strategic requirements of the business and provide strategic solutions.
- Adhere to the EirTrade performance pillars at all times.
What we are looking for
- Significant experience in a similar role with Engine experience with the ability to show a cohesive plan as to how pipeline will be met at Manager level.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks and taking ownership end to end.
- Experienced sourcing leads and closing transactions.
- Self-motivated and self-driven, as well as the ability to motivate others. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Capacity to apply common sense and pragmatism as required.
- Demonstrate behaviour in accordance with EirTrade business ethics and protection policy in all company business dealings and decisions.
- Experience working with different time zones and ability to manage geographic challenges.
- Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.
- A strategic operator and industry leader.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint an advantage.
- Required periodically for attendance at aviation events and client visits.
