Job Summary
EirTrade is seeking an ambitious & goal driven individual to join its Asset Management team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Pricing Director to ensure inventory optimisation to maximise the value of each project.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide the department manager with clear and concise information on inventory performance and management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organisations inventory including pricing strategies, stock replenishment & investment. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be expected to stay up to date with market trends and the market values of aircraft components.
Responsibilities
- Support the department manager in the day to day management of EirTrade’s inventory.
- Responsibility to ensure the optimal implementation of pricing strategies, stock replenishment & identify material to be repaired to support customer requirements.
- Manage & analyse the performance of inventory from a large portfolio of assets being managed by EirTrade, and provide optimal strategies for each.
- Analyse the company’s inventory using a balance of analytical & qualitative methods, and interpret the information to provide a clear conclusion.
- Present summary findings in a clear and concise manner and provide recommendations to the Asset Management department and other departments in EirTrade as required.
- Liaise with EirTrade’s Component Repair Team on component shop reports and assist in the decision making process.
- Liaise with both EirTrade’s Airframe & Engine Sales Team in relation to market feedback and sales opportunities.
- Support the department on other requests and projects as they arise.
- Continually adhere to EirTrade’s performance pillars.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a third level qualification in a related field and/or experience in a similar role. The individual should have strong competency in the areas of business, commerce, asset management & maths/finance while being comfortable managing and interpreting large data sets, generating data on financial performance and analysis while identifying correlations with ‘real market’ conditions.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate of a business, finance, maths, aviation degree or similar, /or have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar or related role.
- Be able to demonstrate an advanced level of MS Excel and other MOS platforms.
- Excellent numerical ability, attention to detail, demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
- Excellent communicator and team player.
- Have strong initiative to take a proactive approach to the role.
- Have a keen interest in the Aviation Industry.
- Required to be On-Site at EirTrade, Dublin Office, Rathcoole.
