The Role

  • Disassembly and inspection of aircraft airframes, engines, modules, and components, using tooling and engineering diagrams/manuals.
  • Tagging and recording of all parts and materials for full traceability.
  • Work to industry quality standards and EirTrade procedures.
  • Ensure that all required documentation is accurately completed.
  • Duties include picking, packing, check-in, shipping & freight forwarding activities.
  • Ensure proper and accurate usage of the company computer system for managing the warehouse.
  • Liaising with internal departments and external customers to manage packaging, storage, warehousing, and shipping of material.
  • Actively participate with all Health & Safety, Quality and Environment requirements relating to the warehouse including manual handling procedures.
  • Focus on the 3 EirTrade Performance Pillars to be maintained throughout the year.
  • You may be required to operate at any EirTrade operational site.

Qualifications

  • Interested in Aviation and the Aviation sector desirable.
  • Have good PC Skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver to a high standard.
  • Confident to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Forklift License desirable but not essential
  • A strong communicator
  • Able to apply integrity and good practice across all activities and initiatives.

Skills

  • Demonstrate behaviour in accordance with EirTrade Business Ethics and Protection policy in all company business dealings and decisions.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and proven hands-on skills, with a practical approach to maintenance tasks.
  • Strong hands-on mechanical ability, with a high level of competence using hand tools and workshop equipment.
  • Must demonstrate good mechanical hand skills, attention to detail, and the ability to carry out practical tasks to a high standard.
  • A practical, hands-on individual with strong mechanical aptitude and good hand skills is essential for this role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks taking ownership end to end.
  • Self-motivated and self-driven, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a small entrepreneurial team.
  • Proven ability to manage time and workloads for maximum efficiency.
