Job Summary

Reporting to the Sales Manager / VP Sales, the Sales Executive will be supporting the development of sales pipeline, dealing directly with customers every day.

They are expected to proactively develop customer relationships through in-person and online meetings, calls and emails.

The successful candidate will add strength and enthusiasm to our existing team and must possess excellent business development and communication skills with the ability to deal with internal and external clients and ensure EirTrade standards are adhered to and improved on.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking of all sales orders from creation to delivery.
  • Interface with customers and internal representatives to handle both pre-sales and post-sales service functions.
  • Identify and evaluate potential customers, conduct negotiations, and establish strong relationships.
  • Actively work on market data/pricing for EirTrade – reporting adjustments as needed for review.
  • Respond to all incoming enquiries, referrals and leads in a timely, professional, and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic solutions.
  • Make outbound calls, developing customer relationships.
  • In-person visits to customers / attending conferences.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups on existing orders to obtain feedback and expedite delivery.
  • Process orders, expediting where possible, and keeping customers updated on status.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure orders delivered to customers on time and in line with EirTrade QA Standards.

What we are looking for

  • 1-2 years Aviation Sales/Purchasing experience required.
  • Experience using Salesforce/Avsight is an advantage.
  • MS Office skills with intermediate/advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external parties.
  • Capacity to apply common sense and pragmatism as required.
  • Ability to apply integrity and good practice across all activities and initiatives.
  • Organised, dependable, and with an ability to work on your own initiative, as well as part of the wider team, to achieve personal and company targets and KPI’s.
  • Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Required periodically for attendance at aviation events and client visits.
  • Strong work ethic, work well under pressure and possess a determination to exceed goals.
