Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Purchasing, the Sales Executive will be supporting the development of sales pipeline and achieving sales targets.
The Sales Executive is to provide quality customer support with assigned accounts through calls, answering email RFQs, sourcing/brokering for open requirements and follow ups with customers. They are expected to proactively develop account relationships through meetings, sales calls and emails.
The successful candidate will add strength and experience to our existing team and must possess excellent business development and communication skills with the ability to deal with internal and external clients and ensure EirTrade standards are adhered to and improved on.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen, manage, and build strong long-term relationships with existing and new business opportunities.
- Respond to all incoming enquiries, referrals and leads in a timely, professional, and effective manner.
- Assist with inbound quote requests via email and phone
- Make outbound sales calls, developing customer relationships
- Provide total customer support by sourcing parts where appropriate
- Conduct daily follow-ups on existing quotes to obtain feedback and push for orders
- Process orders, expediting where possible, and keeping customers updated on status
- Review of open order reports to ensure delivery with assigned customers
- Work with internal departments to ensure orders are delivered to customers on time
- Help with market research and feedback pricing/cost adjustments where needed
What we are looking for:
- At least 2 years of previous sales experience, with a proven track record in a sales position.
- Aviation experience preferred
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite
- Experience using Salesforce/Avsight is an advantage
- Third level qualification would be an advantage.
- Strong work ethic, work well under pressure and possess a determination to exceed sales goals.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with proven ability to adapt communication style.
- Organised, dependable, and with an ability to work on your own initiative, as well as part of the wider team, to achieve personal and company targets and KPI’s.
